GOT7's Jackson Wang and JJ Lin collaborate on a heartwrenching ballad 'Should've Let Go', watch video
It's only been few weeks since popular Korean pop group GOT7 released their full-length album 'Breath Of Love: Last Piece' along with two music videos - 'Breath' and 'Last Piece'. After dropping the album on November 30, the group's member Jackson Wang has released a new collaboration 'Should've Let Go' with Singaporean singer-songwriter JJ Lin.
The heartwrenching ballad features Jackson Wang and JJ Lin reminiscing on the past moments with the parallel track of the couple in the backdrop representing how time continues in this love story. "Love comes with loneliness, yeah / Love is letting things slip away, oh oh / But still wanting to turn back after many years," the lyrics reflect on how loneliness slips in relationships at times.
Jackson Wang croons, "Should’ve let go, mmm / The wound that never gets to see the sun / The traces of joy that are left behind is an unending vortex / Nearly drowning me."
Written by Lin Yifeng, the Chinese-English track has been composed and arranged by BOYTOY, Jackson Wang & JJ Lin.
This song marks his third single release this year after '100 Ways' and 'Pretty Please'.
