Actor Anushka Sharma and Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli welcomed their first child on Monday, January 11, 2021. The power couple has been blessed with a baby girl.
"We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat," Kohli wrote in a statement on his social media.

The skipper's brother Vikas Kohli shared the first glimpse of the baby by sharing a picture of a baby's feet. He captioned the picture, "Happiness overboard .... angel in the house."

Anushka Sharma was taken to Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai on January 11, 2021. Anushka and Virat announced their pregnancy in August 2020. The couple got hitched in a private ceremony in Italy in 2017.
