EXCLUSIVE: Photographer Atul Kasbekar names Bollywood actresses he would like to shoot for Kingfisher calendar

Atul Kasbekar is the man behind the hottest calendar of the year, the Kingfisher Calendar that is known to raise the temperatures every year. Apart from being a fashion photographer, he is also a well known Bollywood film producer. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Atul Kasbekar spoke about the criteria for being a Kingfisher model and whether he sees doing the shoot with Bollywood personalities in the future.

The Kingfisher calendar shoot is usually done with professional models. When asked if the photographer would love to have Bollywood personalities on board, he said, “I would love to. If I got a chance to shoot with let's say Shilpa Shetty, Mandira Bedi. Actually all the girls are fit now. I am just naming a few who are phenomenally fit. Someone like Saiyami Kher who runs marathon. I think there is something really hot about strong women. Actually strong women are hot whether they are emotionally strong or physically strong. In fact if you have seen the movies that I have made, a lot of them are female centric whether it's Neerja or Tumhari Sulu. I think I am just drawn to that kind of personality altogether.”

Further throwing light in the criteria for being a Kingfisher model, Kasbekar said, “People have a strong misconception that models need to be skinny and that's really not the case. For something like a swimsuit calendar model, they need to be extremely fit. So the more toned and athletic you are. Ideally it should be a body that is made doing a lot of yoga and pilates.”
