Time and again, actor, philanthropist Sonu Sood has proved that he has a heart of gold, hogging the limelight for his humanitarian activities one after the other.
The benevolent side of the actor also came to the fore on the sets of his upcoming film being shot in Hyderabad. In what was truly an act of generosity, Sonu Sood had gifted a mobile each to 100 members on the set, including set boys, lightmen, assistant directors from the film unit. The joy of the team truly knew no bounds with the gesture.
Sonu Sood’s unprecedented effort to identify the members from the film set hailing from low-income families and gift them mobiles, has already won many hearts. While it is commonplace to see film heroes gift mobile sets to the unit on the final day of the shoot, it’s rare for an actor who’s playing an antagonist in a film to showcase empathy for his team. And also has the humility to say he’s no messiah after all!
