Sonam Kapoor Ahuja joins forces with Film Heritage Foundation to support film preservation and archival of historic Indian films
Actress and philanthropist Sonam Kapoor Ahuja has never shied away from showing her support to causes that matter. Currently enjoying some downtime with husband Anand Ahuja in London, the stunner took to social media and urged fans to support the Film Heritage Foundation. A not-for-profit organization founded by filmmaker and archivist Shivendra Singh Dungarpur in 2014, the Film Heritage is dedicated towards film preservation, restoration, and archiving of historic Indian films.
Sharing a special Instagram post where Sonam spoke about her association with the Foundation, Sonam wrote, "Being a second-generation actor in a family that celebrates cinema, I've grown up watching my peers and relatives give their all to each film they’ve been in. I would want the future generation to not just be able to see their passion, but also witness what it is like to pour their heart out in films. My decision to associate with Film Heritage Foundation is a testament to how strongly I feel about preserving our heritage for the future to see, appreciate and love."
