Swara Bhasker, R Madhavan, Pratik Gandhi, and others congratulate Deepika Kumari after she reclaims World No. 1 spot in archery
On Monday, Indian archer Deepika Kumari brought laurels to the country when she regained the number one position in the world following her hat-trick of gold medals at the World Cup stage 3 in Pairs. In 2012, Deepika had achieved the top spot for the first time. On Sunday, she claimed gold medals in three recurve events- women's individual, women's team, and mixed team.
The official Twitter account of World Archery hared the winning moment of Deepika that took her to the top spot. Soon after, netizens poured in congratulatory messages for the star archer. Film celebrities also took to social media to congratulate Deepika. Swara Bhasker, Dia Mirza, R Madhavan were among the first to congratulate the archer on social media.

Deepika had become the second Indian woman after Dola Banerjee to grab the number one spot in June 2012 after claiming her first individual recurve World Cup gold medal at Antalya, Turkey. She will be the only Indian woman archer representing the country at the Tokyo Olympics next month.
