The FDCI X Pearl Academy ‘Emerging Talent’ show will see the label The Pot Plant, present a digital showcase. It is scheduled for Thursday, 7th October at 4PM and will be streamed live on both FDCI and Lakmé Fashion Week social media platforms and websites. The collection titled “Liquid Love” explores the possibility of everything an individual can be, without labels. It taps into the unharnessed potential that each of us carries within us --- the power to explore, imbibe and run wild. The fashion film is age, gender, and size inclusive. The line pushes the boundaries of the traditional craft of Bandhani and Shibori in innovative patterns and gender fluid silhouettes. The tailored silhouettes along with fluid sheer fabrics, celebrate wild, uninhibited nature that allows you to be who you are and who you identify as, without reservations. The fabrics used are cottons, silks and organza. The colours and silhouettes are trans- seasonal, thus making every element from the collection a cherished garment for life. The styles work great as easy separates giving the consumer a plethora of options to choose from, to have something that resonated with their style.
