EXCLUSIVE: "Shashi Kapoor was always very charming and sometimes a little naughty," says Zeenat Aman
Ace veteran actress Zeenat Aman is one of the most celebrated figures of the Indian Film Industry. She began her acting journey in 1970 and went on to feature in some of the most iconic Hindi films. She is known for her remarkable performances in films like Roti, Kapada, Aur Makaan, Lawaaris, Hare Rama Hare Krishna to Don among others. Recently, she was honoured at the Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night in Dubai.
At the event, Zeenat Aman got into an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama and talked about the late Mr.Shashi Kapoor. Zeenat said, "He was always very charming, sometimes a little naughty. The thing is when you get along with your co-star so well, it makes the work environment easy. It was always a pleasure to work with him and he was very easy to work with."
Further, the actress also talked about her upcoming projects and said, "I did start working on a play which came to a halt with the pandemic so we are picking up on that which is called 'Dearest Bapu'. So, it was quite challenging foo me to play Kasturba. I really love the fact that he thought of me. I mean he was really thinking out of the box to cast me as Kasturba. So, it was very interesting and very nice. I really liked working with that team. I'm also doing a web series called Madgaon - The Closed Files. It's a murder mystery thriller. I play a matriarch of a Christian family. So, something or the other is happening".
