Saif Ali Khan says he didn’t like the title Ta Ra Rum Pum; reveals what he wanted the film to be titled

Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji will be seen sharing screen in the film Bunty Aur Babli 2. The two have been one of the most successful pairs of Bollywood having featured in hit films like Hum Tum and Ta Ra Rum Pum.

Ahead of the release of Bunty Aur Babli 2, Yash Raj Films shared a video where the two stars are seen having candid conversations about their life and movies. During the conversation, Saif revealed that he hated the title Ta Ra Rum Pum and would avoid telling the title of the film when someone asked about it.

“I didn’t like Ta Ra Rum Pum for this movie. I thought it should be called Driver or something cool. Racer, or Dhoom, or some sexy name,” he said. Saif also recalled wearing wigs in Ta Ra Rum Pum and called it "insane". Rani burst out laughing as they recalled their 2007 film.

Saif Ali Khan played the role of RV, an up-and-coming race who suffers a devastating setback in his career due to an accident on the race track. It is his family which includes Rani Mukerji playing his wife who helps him get back on track.
