Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal Wedding: Bride’s sisters walk her down the aisle; Sunny Kaushal reveals it was a teary moment
Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot on December 9, 2021, in the presence of their family and friends in Rajasthan's Six Senses Fort Barwara. The couple had limited guests owing to the COVID-19 protocol in place. Ever since their wedding, the couple has been sharing happy pictures from their wedding festivities.
On Monday morning, Katrina Kaif dropped pictures from the moment she turned into a gorgeous bride and walked down the aisle towards Vicky accompanied by her sisters. In a post dedicated to her sisters, Katrina wrote, "Growing up, we sisters always protected each other. They are my pillars of strength and we keep each other grounded… May it always stay that way! "

The newlyweds wore custom-made Sabyasachi Mukherji outfits for their big day. Talking about Katrina Kaif's lehenga, Sabyasachi revealed, "The bride Katrina Kaif wears a classic Sabyasachi red bridal lehenga in handwoven matka silk with fine tilla work and meticulously embroidered revival zardozi borders in velvet. In homage to the groom’s Punjabi roots, her veil is custom-trimmed with handmade kiran in hand-beaten silver electroplated in gold. The lehenga is paired with bespoke bridal jewellery of uncut diamonds in 22k gold detailed with hand-strung pearls from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery."
Speaking of Vicky Kaushal's ivory sherwani, it was further revealed, "The groom Vicky Kaushal wears an ivory silk sherwani with intricate marori embroidery and iconic Sabyasachi handcrafted gold plated Bengal Tiger buttons, with a silk kurta and churidar. The shawl is a tussar georgette with a zari marori embroidered pallu and borders. The gold Benarasi silk tissue safa is paired with a handcrafted kilangi and statement necklace studded in emeralds, brilliant-cut and rose-cut diamonds, quartz and tourmalines in 18k gold from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery."
