Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar has tied the knot in a private ceremony. He took to Instagram and announced the same with a picture from the wedding ceremony. However, he did not reveal the identity of his wife. He shared a close-up picture of him and his wife holding hands.
“Bismillah,” he wrote in his caption, along with a heart emoji. Soon after he posted the picture, congratulatory messages started pouring in. Katrina Kaif with whom he will be working next was among the first to congratulate the couple. "Congratulations to u both ❤️” she wrote. Arjun Kapoor wrote, "Jeh baat", while Ranveer Singh commented, "Congratulations Bhai!". Angad Bedi, Sunil Grover, and Katrina Kaif's sister Isabelle Kaif also congratulated the couple.

Ali made his directorial debut in 2011 with the film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan starring Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif and Ali Zafar. He went on to direct blockbuster films like Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Bharat.
Currently, Ali is awaiting the release of his first web series titled Tandav. With Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, and Sunil Grover in the lead, the series will be released on Amazon Prime Video on January 15, 2021.
