Sonu Sood says good-bye to Ganpati Bappa on visarjan day

As he said his goodbyes to Lord Ganesh today, Sonu Sood conducted aarti and puja. The actor danced his heart out to the tunes of Dhol and Tasha before submerging Bappa's idol.

The actor dressed in a black t-shirt in blue jeans for the event and wore no shoes because he was carrying Bappa's idol for immersion.

Sonu, according to reports, recalled Sonali (his wife) having recently arrived from Punjab. They were renting an apartment in Mumbai at the time. They wished to bring Bappa home in order to fully immerse themselves in the joyful spirit of the city. As a result, he rode his motorcycle to the Vile Parle railway station and returned home with a tiny murti. Sonali then advised him to acquire a larger idol because it was just about eight inches tall. They've been getting a four-foot-tall idol since then. He ended by remarking, it’s been 22 years since they brought Bappa home.

On the work front, the actor will next feature in the period drama Prithviraj. He is also a part of the Telugu action-drama Acharya.
